Mini Sessions

FAQ

  • What props do you have?  No props...the focus will always be 100% on you and your family. I will gently guide you instead of posing....and the background of the conservatory will be our gorgeous prop!

  • What should we wear? Dress however you are comfortable! It’s warm in the conservatory, and a little humid so dress and style your hair accordingly. I would avoid dressing in green because the background will be green. Choose colors that will pop and make you stand out from the greens in the background. • Can we try this pose on I saw on social media?  While I love to be inspired by others, I have to admit that any time I have tried to recreate another photographer’s idea, it doesn’t always go so well. However, I am always open to ideas, so it can’t hurt to share it with me. I always prefer to be inspired by you and your family though!

  • Can I share my mini session with another family, or extended family members? I would love to photograph your friends/family with their kiddos, but they will need to purchase their own mini session. If they are interested in doing that, you could book back to back sessions and then explore the conservatory together after! If you would like to add extended family like grandparents, cousins, etc. please contact me before booking and we will discuss options.

  • How many pictures do I get? You will receive 10 digital images, each one edited in color and black and white. There will be more images in your gallery with options to upgrade digital images and purchase prints.

  • How do I get my photos? Within two weeks of your session, you will receive a link in your email to your gallery with info on how to download your images. Digitals should only be downloaded to a computer, not a phone or tablet. And it’s always good to store them on an external hard-drive or the cloud (or both!).

  • Can I print these? Absolutely! Although I strongly recommend ordering prints through your gallery. I believe it's important to invest in quality prints so your photos maintain their integrity generation after generation. If you're used to ordering your prints from big box stores and online bargain printers, you're going to be amazed at the difference in quality…I promise, it's worth it.
